Barbotan: A picturesque little town in the south west of France with tons to discover
You dont have to venture far from the hotel to sample the delights of this area. Barbotan is deep in Bas-Armagnac country and has some excellent bars, restaurants, a lake which offers a refreshing swim, fishing and sailing.
Barbotan itself is famed for its Spa, specialising in the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism or varicose veins. Of course you can also just enjoy the Thermals and relax your soul from too much stress.
Within half an hours drive from the hotel there are three 18 hole golf courses and a private estate which offeres game hunting. Close to Barbotan you can find yourself in the wonderful city of Lourdes, the beautiful hills of the Pyrenees or swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Spain is only 90minutes away.
